On October 27, the founding conference of Fujian Tree Climbing Association was held in Xiamen. Member representatives gathered to witness the historic moment of Tree Climbing.

Leaders attended the meeting, including Mao Wuyi, former deputy director of Fujian Sports Bureau, Guo Qi, director of Social Organization Management Bureau of Fujian Civil Affairs Department, Su Hang, researcher of Group Office of Fujian Sports Bureau, Zhang Xiaobo, director of Xiamen Sports Bureau office, Huang Min, deputy director of Fujian Social Sports Guidance Center, and JUN LYU, MSG secretary of Party general branch & CEO.

Zheng Daxiong, initiator of tree climbng in mainland China and teacher of P.E. Department of Xiamen University, first took the stage to introduce tree climbing and Tree Climbing Association, reported the preparatory work of the association, and made a wonderful report on the future development plan of the association. He said that Fujian Tree Climbing Association is a professional, and non-profit social organization approved by Fujian Sports Bureau and Fujian Civil Affairs department, and also a social organization with independent legal personality, mainly composed of tree climbing enthusiasts, natural person subjects and unit subjects who care about and support tree climbing sport.

Later, the conference voted and passed "Regulations of Fujian Tree Climbing Association". Su Hang, a researcher from the Group Office of Fujian Sports Bureau, read out the recommended list of the 1st leading bodies and members. JUN LYU was elected as the president of Fujian Tree Climbing Association after the selection of the conference.

At the conference, Mao Wuyi, former deputy director of Fujian Sports Bureau, stressed that the establishment of Fujian Tree Climbing Association is the first in China, which will play a positive role in promoting the cause of national fitness and improving the economic development of sports industry. The association should do a good job in leading and benchmarking, learn from foreign successful cases in the development, and continue to promote the development of tree climbing movement in combination with China's national conditions, so as to make it a popular movement for the masses and make due contributions to the construction of a healthy China.

JUN LYU, president of Fujian Tree Climbing Association, delivered his inaugural address. He pointed out that with the continuous popularization of tree climbing knowledge, more and more tree climbing enthusiasts began to emerge in China. The establishment of Fujian Tree Climbing Association is to unite the tree climbing enthusiasts in Fujian Province and promote the rapid development of Tree Climbing, so as to enhance sports exchanges between Fujian Province and various regions. In the future, the association will work hand in hand with the majority of tree climbing enthusiasts to create a bright future of Tree Climbing.

Guo Qi, director of Social Organization Management Bureau of Fujian Civil Affairs Department, delivered a speech and announced the establishment of the association. Guo Qi said that the establishment of the association is not only conducive to the transmission of the concept of ecological protection, but also enables participants to further deepen their understanding of forest protection in the natural movement. In addition, he also put forward guiding suggestions for the development of the association to actively carry out activities and strengthen internal management.

With the warm applause of the whole audience, the conference was at a climax, and the opening ceremony of Fujian Tree Climbing Association was staged. Several leaders and guests were invited to the stage to open a new chapter for the development of Fujian Tree Climbing cause, which also marked that Tree Climbing had entered a new development journey of standard, sustainability and influence.
